So I went to see the podiatrist yesterday as I had two lumps on my left foot. Because I dragged my feet finding someone to watch the kids I bravely took my four kids in tow with me (thinking the whole time of my role model and friend Natali McKee) who always takes her five kids to the Dr. (she amazes me) but anyway...I told the kids we needed to work as a team at being good and if someone was unhappy we needed to agree on a change of plans to make everyone happy so we had a good experience at the "foot doctor". Well, I just assumed since I had never been seen before at that office that I would need to be there early for paperwork but I figured with 4 kids I would only go about 10 minutes early. Glad I didn't go a full half hour because the office is closed from 12-1 and they don't open the doors until 1. Then they filed us in and said all 1 o'clock appt's come straight to the desk any one else take a number and sit so I was the first to be seen. No sooner than...

Well as you all know yesterday was the primary elections...As usual I got a sticker for doing my "part" and I failed to wear it. Well, Noah found it again this morning and wanted to know if he could have it. I said yes, at first he wanted to put it on Sophia's bedroom door. But I told him know it would never come off without leaving a mark and so if he wanted to stick it anywhere it needed to be on a piece of paper. So after taking the kids to school and going for a morning walk with my friend Jill at the mall. I came home and realized the garbage man had not yet visited our neighborhood. I remembered I hadn't taken out Sophia's dirty diapers so I decided to quickly go around the house and take out all the trash as I was picking up papers off the floor to throw away I noticed this....I couldn't help but share...it was just tooo cute! What is a blogger award you say? If someone likes your blog they send you an award. My adorably funny sister in law Mindi sent this one to me. Apparently I am a "ray of sunshine" as she put it...if you don't already follow her blog you really should...I have two friends I know of that follow her blog and if you are not one of those two she is truly the ray of sunshine...she has many blogger awards and so she deemed me with this precious blogger award. Apparently though I have to pass this on to others...lets see if I can do this with links to their blogs... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! Nine years ago I married my best friend. I can honestly say that was "the" best decision I ever made...he has been my strength, my comic relief, my advisor, my psycologist, my nurse, my chef, my maid, my nanny, my mentor, my computer "guy", my Mr. fix it, my milk man, my mail man, my counselor, my landscaper, my shoulder to cry on, my hand to hold, my lips to kiss, and my 'baby' supplier...okay so TMI but nonetheless, he has been my everything! I LOVE this man more today than I did nine years ago and it just gets better every day.
