Today is the day!

I will post more details later obviously as it is 6:45 am...I will be leaving in a few minutes and I just have to say Happy Anniversary to my brother ElRey and his awesome wife Mindi...they have been married ten years today! And lucky them...their niece will share a birthday with their anniversary....so cheers...here's to a great day to all of us... Don't expect an update any time real soon but I will update as soon as I can...

Last dose!

I'm done! I made it and I did it. I stuck myself with a needle every day from week 12 and today was the last time... it really wasn't that bad...the end is in site when I get to hold this beautiful girl! I am truly giddie, but yet I hurt! I need a chiropractic adjustment. I hope that is "legal" at nearly 39 weeks pregnant because I am soooo seeing him today....hope he can help with the last trimester migraines...they have seriously been awful and every time I move my head I feel like something is going to pop. I could use a massage too but...well...that one I will wait on..but I can't see the chiropractor until my six week follow up (for surgical reasons) so one last trip to have at least my neck adjusted before the happy day! Ahhh...Friday!!! :-D

"Nesting"

So I also had to post about my "nesting" habit with this pregnancy. Nathan seriously finds it humorous but welcomed his comment was something like this... "we need to discover which hormone causes nesting so that we can permanently implant it into your system." What I have been doing... I cleaned the house from top to bottom on Saturday which has honestly been a struggle for me with one aspect of my pregnancy which I won't dwell on (really it is TMI) but I got the bug in me and I just prayed that that TMI part of me would just stay put long enough for me to accomplish what I wanted too and although Nathan did have to vacuum and a few other things I managed to get the bulk of what I wanted done...done.. I organized Sophia's room Put together her carseat (Nathan usually does that) Dusted ceiling fans (detail dusted in general something I do rarely) organized the office desk (Nathan did help with a lot of the 2009 filing that needed to happen) I packed Sophia...

One week!

I can't sleep at night the anticipation is so great... (that I am uncomfortable too) There are pros and cons to a scheduled C-Section... yes it is easier to plan and prepare but at the same time...I am not looking forward to the recovery but the reward is greater than the pain...so I just CAN'T wait! What I find ironic though is my children (exception of Kate) all came late. So I have never really been concerned about going into labor early. Now Kate came 10 days early because I was dilated to virtually a 4 and so it was possible I wouldn't make it to my due date so to be safe we wanted to get in and try to turn her before I went into full labor, nonetheless I walked around at a 3.5 with Noah for 2 weeks before we finally induced late by my request...however with Natali my body just wouldn't dilate for some strange reason and after giving birth (2 days late is all) we discovered she had been in the birth canal for sometime because of a goose egg on her head that was the...

Christmas!...I know it took long enough

Image
I know I have been MIA in the blogging world lately, I have just had a lot going on...getting the kids back in school, trying to prepare for Sophia's arrival, actually just trying to keep my head above water and manage to maintain my house, laundry, getting food on the table, running here and there...still so much to do and so little time...but here is a picture overload of our Christmas/Christmas Eve....in no particular order...Christmas was great, we were blessed or rather spoiled this year all the way around...we are thankful for the abundance of blessings we have had this year. So here it is... The kids got a big Christmas gift to share a Mega Bouncer or what is known as the bounce house here...they love it and have great fun with it... Natali got several things but loved her computer digital art studio (she is our budding artist) all the kids love it actually as well as a new Razor scooter that I didn't picture...she also got a movie, some P.J.'s from us and some g...
