Gratitude Day 24

DAY 24

I am grateful for my Excursion.  Oh how I missed the one we had a few years back. Glad to have another one is updated. I am especially grateful that I managed to survive my day at the DMV getting it registered.  I love their new system but that being said even after checking in at 11:30 and being told I had a 3 hour wait. I went shopping and home and my oldest daughter came home from school so I could leave the younger two with her to return. Good thing because found out I didn't have a much needed paper to register (which our dealer failed to give us) and ended up having to get it faxed to the DMV and wait another 2 1/2 hours AGAIN. Luckily I had homework with me to take up that time as I couldn't leave and come back because they lock the doors at 5 and if you are not in there you are out of luck! So glad that is done and grateful for a daughter who held down the fort and a husband who took care of dinner...

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. CONTEST!

I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
