December 2012
Merry Christmas!
Here
is our update on our lives and what we are all up too.
Raising five adorable kids, cooking
cleaning, organizing, chauffeuring, shopping, singing, dancing, preparing,
serving, loving life! It’s been a whirlwind
year with another trip to the Dr. because my heart was on the fritz…new
medication and feeling great. Most know 8 months after losing my father my
mother felt it necessary to follow him and on October 1st joined him
on the other side with my two brothers, my grandparents and a niece and nephew.
So the last few months have been difficult but I am so grateful for the gospel
and the knowledge of eternal families. I
have felt the Spirit so strong since they have both left and I feel them close
by me EVERY where I go. I feel their strength and more so their peace. Aside
from the trials I have grown fond of cooking and love learning new things from
Gordon Ramsey and am proud of my new found talents to become a much better cook.
Nathan
– Workaholic Father and Tri-Athlete
Working, serving, flying, driving,
crashing, early rising, biking, running, swimming, walking, wrestling children
and dogs, playing, hiring, firing, learning…CrAzY!!!This year has brought him
great success with weight loss and health. He has competed in two triathlons,
two half marathons and some other random runs. He has been flirted with right
in front of my face at Dairy Queen and well…what can I say…I’m not surprised. He’s
HOT! He is busy, busy, busy…working, serving, playing, exercising, and raising
five kids. He has made a lot of transitions with his job and has had a lot of
people resign for one reason or another and so with that and my mother’s
passing, life was stressful for him there for a bit but things seem to be
getting along fine. He has hired so many people in such a little time I hardly
knew anyone at the Company Christmas party and the ones I should have known I
didn’t recognize because of weight loss!
NĂ tali
– Our Energizer Bunny & Socialite

Pre-teen
attitude, social butterfly, mommy’s best helper, math genius, dancer, singer,
comic relief, artist, pianist, broken ankle, & author. Natali is 9 going on
16! She loves school, she joined choir this year. She loved every bit of it.
She also auditioned to play a musical instrument for it and was assigned the
drums. She did awesome. We got her CRT scores and shocked to find she scored a
perfect 500 on her math. I was stunned as that girl CANNOT spell. It is her
weakness but she definitely got the Math genes from her father. I am lucky to
add 2+2 and get it right. She loves drawing and is always drawing someone a
picture. She really wants to earn an art award this year. The first week of
school she got student of the month. She continues to excel in piano. She loves
to play and this summer while at her cousin’s house in Utah fractured her ankle
on the trampoline. She is always touting off about how loved she is by friends
and how many friends she has. Working on humility issues…but don’t be fooled
she has attitude but she is a sweetie and is constantly helping her mother out.
She loves writing books. O H and she LOVES to cook.
Noah—The Quiet… not so quiet
GREMILIN –

Playing
games, studying, reading, drawing, building, creating, pestering, talking back,
laughing, riding, swimming, piano, tantrums, baptized, hiding, teasing,
hitting, & hugging. This kid comes off quiet but is quite the defiant
little booger! He has learned to talk
back, laugh in my face and throw some pretty good temper tantrums. This year he turned 8 and so it was a big
year as he chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. (although I have no pictures to show for it….those who said
you would give me copies of the ones you took. You can send them via email
anytime….pretty please). He also started scouting and LOVES it! He
continues to excel in piano and is getting really good. He
loves school and is very particular in all subjects. He also loves to draw and
amazes me with his talents. He loves playing games, computers and the like. He
LOVES his little brother and is about the ONLY sibling he doesn’t pick on. He
loves to irritate his sisters, pester his mom and clean his dad’s office and
earn money. He LOVES scouts and earning
badges, belt buckles and just having fun with the boys. I hope this means he
will be an awesome teenager! Even though he has been a “thorn” lately we caught
him holding his older sister’s hand as we went to see the lights at the Ethel M
Chocolate Factory…he really does love his sister/s!
Kathryn (Katie, Kate or
Katie Kate)—Singer, Songwriter & Beautician

reading, writing, learning, playing, & doing hair. This girl loves to
cuddle and help around the house and doing laundry. She loves Kindergarten and
loves to read and sing and write her own songs. She is very good at all of
them. She is the one child to sleep in the morning and refuse to get dressed.
She is constantly whining about doing certain things or dressing a certain way.
She will do the opposite of what is told to her. She loves to sing, dance & play house
with her dolls and sisters. She is quiet but has good friends. She started the
piano this year and is excelling quickly.
She loves to paint, color and create!
She likes to make up her own songs and write and sing them. She is

things very quickly and remembers everything too. There is no getting away with
anything with her. She talks about her
“Ribbit” school. She loves the color orange and everything has to be
