Happy Father's Day! 
To a wonderful husband and father!

First of all I needed to show off Nathan's remarkable transition. As you all may very well know. Nathan and I, around this time last year, started a journey to lose our unwanted baby weight. The above picture was probably if not close to his highest weight.  The second picture is my sexy husband a few weeks ago on our anniversary. He has lost 30+ lb's. He is training for a triathalon and I am very very proud of his accomplishments. A little jealous of the work out time he gets and the fact that his hip measurement is smaller than mine even though I still weigh less he has more muscle mass.  Great job Nathan! You look amazing!


Fun Facts about Nathan


He is a workaholic and entrepreneur but who didn't know that. He owns three businesses and is working on a new one. Yes....addicted!

He is the 2nd counselor in our Bishopric so on top of all the hard work at work. He is very dedicated to his calling in the church as well as serving everyone in the community. 

He LOVES to fly...this is his baby (and one of his three jobs) this is on his first solo flight with his flight instructor.

His favorite food is spatzle (a german noodle prepared with pork roast and gravy)
His favorite color is red
He is a graduate of UNLV with his Masters Degree in Computer Science and Technology
He has a new found love for biking and running. He still is getting the hang of swimming though.

Nathan is a fabulous father. He may be gone a lot but he ALWAYS makes time for his kids. (and me) As a mother I love to watch him play tickle monster with the kids and sing to them at night.

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today. It has taken me years...I mean years to find the secret trick to getting my energy back and back quickly.
