My beautiful breech baby...also my first C-Section baby..she refused to turn...looking back now...I think I just like to say she probably saved my life being breech. Looking back at the whole experience from the clear prompting to do a C-Section verses a vaginal breech delivery coupled with the following months/year...I like to think that but who knows really...but I am just glad she is here a part of our family and that she made it here safe.

  1. If she could go anywhere in the world she would choose to go to McDonalds... I asked her why and she says they have the best toys...LOL
  2. If she could choose anything to have for dinner what would she choose and she would want chicken and rice a roni
  3. Her favorite color is pink she said because it is just sooooooooooooo pretty
  4. Her favorite dessert or treat is a chocolate shake
  5. Her favorite things to do is to play games like Hungry Hungry Hippos & Memory
  6. Her favorite food is pizza because she likes cheese
  7. If she could choose anywhere to go out to eat she would choose Cici;s pizza because she LOOOOOOVES macaroni pizza! 
From my perspective Katie is a sweet caring little girl. She truly has a heart of gold. She is very emotional and complains a lot about little things. She often clams up and refuses to do anything for anyone but just grunt. She likes to sing and makes up her own adorable songs about everything or anything.  She made up a song for me for Mother's Day. She made one for her birthday that was not a traditional birthday song but with all the things that she wanted. She likes to ride her bike at the park she loves to shop and knows how to get a "treat" out of any shopping trip. She likes to play her Dora Wii game, play on the computer, play house and kitchen with her siblings. She enjoys cooking with her Mom and holding her baby brother any chance she can get.

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
