Well, I think I figured it out...do I like the change with blogger....the jury is still out on that vote...but since I think I figured it out then I have to blog about the boys birthday. Nathan celebrated is 1st anniversary of his 33rd birthday and August celebrated his 1st birthday...We went to dinner as a family and celebrated with cake and ice cream at home. A few pictures...

 August and his CAT ride on toy...loved it! He got a Grover cell phone that makes tons of racket and some clothes for the summer.

 It was getting late, Nathan was impatient so he wouldn't wait for me to take a picture of him blowing out his #1 candle. He was already taking it out of the cake when I finally was able to snap it. Darn that impatient, wanted the kids in bed husband. LOL

The kids didn't really let him play much with his truck the night of his birthday they all loved it just as much as he did. Sophia thought it was for her. LOL...so this is him the next morning LOVING his toy.
Nathan and his new toy...he actually had it a month before his birthday but it was his birthday present...so I at least for his birthday I put a bow on it. LOL! He also got a ton of gear for it and I must say I do NOT like biking shirts. They are frankly...unattractive...but he's training for a Triathalon so he has to stay cool. And who rides a bike that shoes lock in as the pedals?...my husband...That is what I get for letting him hang around our friend Ben Tippetts too long. LOL...I just hope he doesn't injure himself too bad...

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. He also knows how it will benefit us and others around us the most. I believe in being in the right place at the right time.       Most of you are aware tha...

Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
