 Noah with his good friend Tierza at her birthday party...he is convinced he is going to marry her...slow down buddy you are not even 8 yet! That being said, we will be friends with their family for a long time...so we'll just have to wait and see. LOL

I know he is a little "tyke" but he wasn't so little when he was born weighing in at 8 lbs 8 oz. My biggest baby.

His favorite color is orange...I asked him why and he said he didn't know but that he really liked it and so does his Aunt Noraleen. I guess if it good enough for Aunt Noraleen then why wouldn't it be good enough for him. LOL...

If  he could request anything for dinner what would he request...he said Shepherd's Pie or Turkey Loaf...(not surprised in the least)

His favorite dessert are Klondike bars...(the original kind) 

If he could travel anywhere in the world where would he go? He chose Salt Lake to see his cousins. That boy LOVES his cousins!

I asked him what were his favorite things to do and his reply....wait for it....wait for it....the Wii....are we surprised? NOT a bit!  


From my perspective. Noah is full of questions. He wants to know everything and he wants to know it NOW...he is obsessed with order. Everything has it's place and exactness...to put it mildly he is a perfectionist. He is a straight A student. He LOVES LOVES LOVES to read. He will stay up until 10 every night reading in bed if we let him.  He loves to play the piano. He also likes to ride his bike, tease his sisters and mother incessantly! He knows how to push buttons and when. He is a quiet kid but sure knows how to scream to where the neighbors think he is being tortured. (think Princess Bride) But he is an amazing kid...he is smart, talented and oh so lovable.  He is so excited for his birthday and to be baptized.

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. CONTEST!

I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today. It has taken me years...I mean years to find the secret trick to getting my energy back and back quickly. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May.
