I never got to post about Natali for her birthday it was last month...LOL...so I thought I would take the time to spotlight my kids and since she is the oldest...I would start with her...

A poem she wrote for me for mother's day


Her current favorite color (she is changing it all the time is) Sky blue...I asked her why and she said because "it reminds me of heaven"...
If she could travel anywhere in the world she wants to go to Australia...I asked her why and she said "because they celebrate Christmas during the summer"...(okay...LOL)...
I asked her if she could take any one friend with her to Australia who would she take and she said Nevina...I asked her why and she said because she has relatives there and she would appreciate it the most...
But she made it very clear that Ashlyn was still her bestie...
She said if she could choose any restaurant to go to it would be a Chinese restaurant...(this surprised me) I asked her why and she said because she wants to use chopsticks...I get it now!
Her favorite things to do is clean with her mom and go swimming and play with her friends. I asked her what she liked to clean (because really?...what kid really likes to clean..) she said clean door knobs and light switches...LOL
She also said she loves to go shopping and eating ice cream and that her favorite dessert is a "sherbet something or other cake from Freed's bakery) okay...she has me stumped! 
Her favorite ice cream is vanilla but she said she really wants to try two scoops vanilla with two scoops strawberry with fresh strawberries on top with chocolate and whip cream...
She surprised me again with that one...
From my perspective Natali is currently addicted to watching H2O, and Shake it up on Netflix. I never let her play enough with our neighbor friend Madison and Sierra...She loves to do crafts, she loves to draw and write poetry and short stories but her favorite subject is Math. (smarty like her Daddy).

She loves to paint nails and wear dangling earrings. She likes Outback Steakhouse the best and I think she has chosen that restaurant every year for her birthday...She enjoys playing house with her siblings and being a mommy to her littlest brother August. She is  a great big sister and a HUGE helper. She loves to cook and bake and make new friends.

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
