Piano Recital / Santa Claus

Well, obviously I have had a hard time catching up on blogging (most of you know why) so here is the start of December...mid December Natali and Noah had their first piano recital...when I can figure out how to post videos (so not well versed in that) I will post their recital but this is the only "still" picture I got of them waiting on the stairs for their turn...it was a pajama recital. Natali played Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Joy to the World and Noah played Santa Claus is Coming to town and Jingle Bells...they did awesome and I am proud of all they are learning.

We saw Santa Claus at our Ward Christmas party... Kate refused to sit on his lap without me...since I am very "fond" of Santa Claus I had no issues with sitting on his lap with her...I was caught a few years ago "kissing" Santa Claus...shh...dont' tell Nathan...(j/k)
Here is Natali who knew this year who's Santa's helper was and was telling her friends...needless to say they need to find a new Santa's helper next year...the word is out...
Noah with Santa...he still had no clue even with all the yelling and screaming about
who was "helping" Santa this year...he sure was cute when he told Santa he wanted a bathrobe, a comforter for his bed and a transformer...he was for the most part practical this year in his gift requests oh...and you can't forget new slippers to go with the bathrobe...


And cute Sophia decided she was pretty fond of the white guy in the red suit...she had no issues (I think she was wondering why all the kids were crying) she thought he was very interesting to look at...(I think she knows....)

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. CONTEST!

I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing.
