Merry Christmas!!!
For those of you who didn't get an official letter in the mail for whatever reasons (most likely don't have your address or think I have your wrong one)
December 2010
Another year gone? Really? We started off the year welcoming our 4th child Sophia Karoline into our family. I can’t believe she will celebrate her first birthday in a month. She is growing by leaps and bounds and we love seeing her personality develop. Kate turned four this year and was moved to a new school and we all LOVE it. She is still our shy little girl but has improved so much socially and in her speech since being in pre-school. She has decided she likes to be called Strawberry Shortcake. Noah turned six and started first grade, he LOVES full day and LOVES taking cold lunch. He also started piano lessons in September and is doing really well. He has straight A’s and amazes us with his reading and math skills. Natali is our social butterfly. She turned seven this year and can’t wait until she turns eight in April. We are planning her baptism for the Saturday before Easter for those who would like to attend and need advanced notice to make plans. We know she would love your support if you can attend but we understand many of you will not be able to make it. She started 2nd grade and LOVES school and is getting “almost” straight A’s. She also started piano in September after taking a summer break due to her former teacher having a baby and because of that we switched piano teachers and have been very happy with Megan. They just had a pajama Christmas recital. Natali amazed us with Joy to the World and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and Noah played Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is coming to town.
Nathan of course keeps very busy as he is running three businesses and venturing to start yet another one. He is an addicted entrepreneur, need I say more. He also keeps busy as he was called this spring as the second counselor in the Bishopric. Personally that was a little harder for me for many reasons. I said goodbye to a very loved calling in the Young Women Presidency so that he could serve fully on Wednesday nights without us dragging all four kids with us to the church. I was then called as a Family History Consultant for our ward. But we have been very blessed for his service in this calling. We then found out we are expecting our caboose baby and recently found out we are having our second boy he is due mid-May. All of the kids are extremely excited with this news especially Noah as he has wanted a brother pretty bad.
Ruth, that would be me, just enjoys being with the kids and is a human incubator (LOL). I manage to somehow get kids to school, keep the house somewhat clean, chauffer the kids around, do mandatory shopping and survive Sundays and live to tell about it. We are really blessed right now in so many ways that I can’t express how thankful we are to all of you our family and friends for your love and support. We are especially grateful to our Heavenly Father and our Savior who have given all we have and the strength to endure the tougher times. We are all very happy and keep busy. We want all of you to know this Christmas season how much you all mean to us that we think of you all often, more than just once a year although you only get a letter once a year.
