Kate turned Three!

My baby of my babies turned three...and she won't be the "baby" anymore come February... we had a ton planned for her birthday and hense it has taken me so long to post about her birthday so there are several posts about her birthday and turning three and starting pre-school so make sure you read all of them. ;-D (wink wink)

A Little about Kate


Her 'official title': Miss Independent (since a young age she wants to do everything by herself) as worried as I was about her starting preschool I think she loves the independence it has given her...)

Favorite Food: Pizza (or anything with cheese LOL)

Least Favorite Food: Cold Cereal

Favorite Color: Blue (although she doesnt' say much she has always known what blue is)

Favorite activity: Reading books (you can always find her with a book in her hands and climbing on someone's lap for someone to read it to her...she is now starting to try to read on her own...it's about time!

New discovered word: Help! I have been waiting for this day for a very long time...

Things she likes to do: besides reading books...she loves to play with Dolls and the play kitchen...

Favorite movie: as of late "Hotel for Dogs"

Favorite Snack: Cheese' its (are we surprised?)

Other randomoniums about Kate: she always wants to dress herself, she recently was potty trained ;-D She likes to turn off the lights and loves to get a hold of the camera and take pictures...she is actually not that bad...

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing.
