Happy Halloween!

Well, I am finally feeling better so I was able to go to our ward Halloween Truck or Treat...it is literally the highlight of the year in our ward and the most attended (even over the Christmas party) although it's close...so last night we went and had a good time and for the first time in 2 weeks I was finally able to wear my contacts and make up...oooooohhh...I felt soooooo good...I went as a pregnant butterfly. LOL! I didnt' get pictures of Nathan or I but I am hoping Nathan decks himself out again tonight when he takes the kids out around the neighborhood for a little bit and I will get a picture of him and he can take one of me but here are the kids...I wanted to make costumes for them but being sick literally all month I couldn't get out to purchase whatever it was I needed. Natali wanted to be a rainbow ghost and I had a really awesome idea which I will do next year...but because of my health it didnt' happen so Monday night we ventured out and bought costumes this year...(ouch...I hate spending money on costumes)...

Oh and just for fun I didn't have this planned but we had some turkey dogs that we needed to eat for lunch today so to convince my kids to eat them I thought we would be creative for "Halloween" and make Octopus turkey dogs over a bed of "coral" although Natali hates Mac and Cheese so she had a bagel instead but this was our fun lunch for the year...LOL

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
