Happy Birthday!

This is my nutty brother ElRey aka James...and his gorgeous hilarious wife Mindi...today is my brother's birthday lets just say he is 2 years younger than myself, and I am 34 so that gives you and idea how old he is...Mindi's birthday is tomorrow (and is a year older than my brother) so I thought I'd wish them a happy birthday together today since their cards I sent them will get there tomorrow I will wish them a happy birthday today and they can get their cheesy cards tomorrow. LOL!
A little about my brother and his beautiful wife. ElRey was always the "clown" in our family, he could always get us laughing and is still that way. He is known as ElRey because my Dad goes by James. But he is not a Jr. they both go by their middle names...Enough said there...
ElRey and Mindi both served their mission to California, Carlsbad mission. That is where they initially met, however ElRey was her district leader or zone leader (I can't remember which) maybe both LOL! and she thought he was a total nerdy "Elder" (or so what I heard) but after they both completed their mission they ran into each other up at a mutual friends "mission" homecoming talk and there Mindi left imprinted on his hand her phone number...needless to say that is where the story "really" begins.
They have three gorgeous daughters Audrey, Annie, and Lily...and from what I am hearing apparently my mother is hinting at getting another grandchild from them...LOL! Isn't the one I am baking enough?
Nevertheless they are a perfect couple keeping
their marriage alive with humor and good looks. ;-D

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
