were late and thus did not get to participate in this "lovely" picture...these are so much more fun than the "serious" pictures...

Nathan's family at their "best" we just all had a great time...by this point we were all just wanting it be done...LOL!

Some how our wedding turned strawberry themed... This is our $50.00 wedding cake...we got a steal on a lot of things for our wedding...I just happened to marry into the "right" family...Nathan's sister Tricia knew a professional wedding cake decorator...she happened to owe Tricia a favor...she used that favor for us... this would not have been a cheap cake...when we were looking at the magazines I just fell in LOVE with this cake...I also wanted to serve strawberry crepes at my wedding....(I love crepes) and since we had a cake with strawberries and we decided to do strawberry crepes we decided we might as well make our centerpieces with strawberries too..

Our strawberry topiaries for the centerpieces...I made them myself with my sister Noraleen, and my friends Kim, Chanelle, Angela, MaryAnna, and Fiona...at least I think that is who helped me make these (the night before the wedding no less...)

Thanks to our Brother in law Kelly - We got an awesome deal on our reception being held at the Utah State Fair park...he also did this for us...it was really sweet...

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. CONTEST!

I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today.
