Well check visits
Well Natali and Kate had a Well Check today. They just love their doctor he really engages them. She still can't over him asking her what certain animals make and every time he would say Meow and all the kids would bust up laughing then he surprised us with an amazing elephant sound.
Anyway...good news is...neither one needed shots they are both up to date so no shots for Kate until 4 and Natali doesn't need shots until age 11! YES!
Bad news: he wants Natali to see a Neurologist because she suffers from headaches (more than normal) we have to make a calendar of food consumption, activities, bed wetting, and headaches to see if there is any correlation. He is putting in a referral though for that
As for Kate she is behind in speech. We are concerned it could be her hearing as she did fail her first hearing test when she was born. However, if you ask her to do something she comprehends it just fine and does it (so I am not sure it is really hearing if she can hear me ask her to do something and carry out the task) that being said, Natali is in speech but even Natali was saying much more at Kate's age than Kate is saying. Kate only has two words she uses regularly (Mom and No) everything else is Ahh..or ehhh or a grunt.) on occasion you will here her say something like "more or bye or night night. But very very rarely.
So he is putting in an evaluation for her for an audiology evaluation and speech evaluation.
But overall they are healthy and happy.
