Flying with Daddy

Natali has been waiting for this moment for a VERY long time. He had planned to take her up on her birthday but that day just was plum crazy. And then it was too windy and rainy and stormy all through last week. But Thursday and Friday cleared up but someone was renting the plane Thursday and Friday someone rented the plane early in the day and Nathan scheduled it for 3 o'clock. He got a call that morning asking if they could take the plane until 7 that evening. But he told them no because Natali was really really looking forward to it. So they said they would have it back by 4. Well they didn't get back until 4:30 but she really wanted to go up with her cousin Brenden (I was concerned she might freak out once up there so someone needed to be there "just in case") Brenden has already been up in the air in the plane and wants to be a fighter pilot and he is old enough to calm Natali down if for some unforseen reason she "feaked" but no she/they had the time of their lives. She came back all stoked and said she didn't get scared and that they saw lots of things like sand dunes and the like.
I am glad she had fun although Noah and Kate were both upset they couldn't go too. But soon they will also get their chance.

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing.
