Okay so I never went to Prom. My high school dances were well...lets just say they were not the highlight of my high school years. I would have loved them to be but, well...it just never happened. Don't say I didn't try with the girls choice dances either. The two times I asked a guy to a dance I got turned down. After the second time I was done with asking. Yeah, I guess it was a sore spot. But nonetheless I had always wanted to go and dress up in the beautiful gowns and prom dresses but it just never happened for me. I still love looking at dresses. I know silly but true. So...I also dream of what it would be like to attend the Academy Awards or the Oscars as some may call it or even going to see the Tony Awards (as I love the stage more than the movies) but I always think...gee what would I wear...so here are some dresses I really love. I of course am looking at sites that are not high fashion designers that and I would want them modest.

This first one I would wear to prom

This one I would wear to the Academy Awards but in the blue, or prom. I don't think that bright of pink would do be justice.

And this red one I would choose to wear to the Tony Awards, or Prom

And these dresses I thought would be awesome if I directed a Midsummer's Night dream and had a huge budget. LOL!

Our radio station here 94.1 use to do a second chance prom. I really wish they'd bring it back. Nathan was going to take me the year I got pregnant with Natali and it was right before her birth so it didn't happen. I don't know that I could justify spending the money on a dress that I would wear once though. So maybe it's best

God's Hand I haven't blogged in a while. I guess it's time to show some gratitude. I have come to realize in the last year or so how often we take for granted how incredibly involved our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ are in our everyday life. Just because we can't not see them physically, I find that we often forget how much they really do have their hands extended and are continually guiding us.        Of course I do believe that life is all about choices. The good, the bad, the ugly, or rather determining what is good, better and best. What we choose can shape a lot of who we are and who we have the capability of becoming. We have agency. He let's us choose. But as we follow His guidance through the Spirit I definitely think He knows where He needs us better than we do. Merry Christmas 2018! I deeply apologize for the 2nd year in a row not sending out Christmas cards/letters. I just haven't had the extra time or patience to do so. I haven't been on my blog in forever and almost forgot how to post anything. I hope you all enjoy. The past couple years have brought some trials as is life. But through it all we have continually be blessed and the outpouring of love and support from those around us have made burdens lighter. We are most grateful for our Savior and His divine hand in our lives and that is really all we can ask for. A short blurb for each of us. Nathan's business is expanding which brings more travel and more stress. But blessings all the same. He hiked the JMT trail this summer/fall for his birthday that was in May. CONTEST!

I sat thinking today (dangerous I know)  and decided to change things up on my blog today...who doesn't like a CONTEST! Yup...now don't get too excited. You won't be winning millions of dollars or anything like that. Now I have friends ALL over the country and out of the country for that matter. SO if someone outside of Vegas or Utah wins this ridiculously silly contest, then I will figure out something I can mail to you. If you are local or in Utah I will make you something amazing. My amazing chocolate cupcakes, or fresh baked bread, or maybe even invite you to our home for dinner (if you are local). But as I was pondering my lack of energy today. It has taken me years...I mean years to find the secret trick to getting my energy back and back quickly.
